Mezcla - Hyacinth

Mezcla is the perfect yarn for durable socks and unique sweaters.

40% Merino, 40% Peruvian Highland Wool, 20% Nylon | 425 yards/100 grams

"Mezcla" translates from Spanish to "mixed" or "blended."  A 4-ply, fingering-weight marled yarn, Mezcla represents the lines that we all walk in a world defined by binaries.  I find myself walking the lines between concrete & soil, being Mexican - American, and East Coast & West Coast living, to name a few.  Often times I wish these pairs represented symbiosis as opposed to a dichotomy, as in this beautiful yarn base. 

All skeins are dyed in small batches, please expect variance in color and plan to alternate skeins each row if making a larger project.
