Liminal was created with garments in mind. My favorite weight for sweaters, Liminal is a 2-ply, DK-weight yarn spun for Emtothethird Yarn Co. at Battenkill Fibers in Greenwich, NY. It's a soft, toothy wool that knits into a fabric with amazing texture. Read The Story of Liminal here.

I have always dreamt of dyeing exclusively on yarns whose source materials could be easily traced. "Liminal" is the first yarn base we've had spun exclusively for us and marks the beginning of a transition towards supporting local mills and farmers as we grow. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
All skeins are dyed in small batches, please expect variance in color and plan to alternate skeins each row when making larger projects.
